“You may go home,” Jesus replied. “Your son will live.” The man took Jesus at his word and headed home.
Then Jesus said to the Roman commander, “Go! It will be done for you just as you have believed it would.” And his servant was healed at that moment.
Jesus saw them and said, “Go show yourselves to the priests.” And while they were on their way, they were healed.
Abraham did this because he believed that God could bring back people who had died. And so, in a sense, he did receive Isaac back from the dead.
Jesus responded, “Didn’t I tell you that if you believed, you would see God’s glory?”
The royal official said, “Sir, please come before my child dies.”
While he was still on the way, his slaves met him and told him that the boy was going to live.
