Jesus said, “Woman, believe me, a time is coming when you won’t worship the Father either on this mountain or in Jerusalem.

So I want the men in every place to pray, lifting up holy hands without anger or arguing.

Through Christ we both come to the Father by one Holy Spirit.

But a time is coming—in fact, it’s already here—when true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth. Those are the kind of worshipers the Father is looking for.

You’re going to be thrown out of the synagogue. In fact, the time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they’re serving God.

You call on a Father who judges each person’s work without favoring one person over another. So live with the highest respect for God during your time as outsiders here.

We’ve heard him say that Jesus of Nazareth will destroy this place and change the practices that Moses handed down to us.”

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Truly I tell you, a time is coming—and in fact, it has already come—when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear it will live.

Some will be killed by the sword and others will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be taken over by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles come to an end.

So go and make disciples of all nations. Baptize them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

I didn’t see any temple in the city, because the Lamb and the Lord God Almighty are its temple.
