Simon Peter and Thomas (who was also called Didymus) were there together with Nathanael from Cana in Galilee, the two sons of Zebedee, and two more disciples.

Jesus went again to Cana in Galilee, where he had turned the water into wine. A royal official was there whose son was sick in bed at Capernaum.

Philip found Nathanael and told him, “We’ve found the one Moses wrote about in the Law. The prophets wrote about him too. It’s Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”

Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!”

Then Thomas, who was also called Didymus, said to the rest of the disciples, “Let’s go along, so we can die with him.”

What Jesus did at Cana in Galilee was the first of his signs showing his glory. Because of it, his disciples believed in him.

and so were his partners, James and John, the sons of Zebedee. Then Jesus said to Simon, “Don’t be afraid, from now on you will fish for people.”

Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James, the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus;

Jesus went a little farther and saw James, the son of Zebedee, and his brother John in a boat, working on their nets.

Two days later there was a wedding at Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there,
