Jesus said to them, “Come and have breakfast.” None of the disciples dared to ask him, “Who are you?” They knew it was the Lord.

Jesus wasn’t seen by everybody, only by us. But we ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead.

Jesus saw that they wanted to ask him about these things, so he said to them, “Are you asking each other what I meant when I said, ‘In a little while you won’t see me anymore, then after a little while you’ll see me again’?

When Jesus and the disciples had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these others do?” “Yes, Lord,” he answered, “you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.”

But they didn’t understand what he meant, and they were afraid to ask him about it.

Just then Jesus’ disciples came back, and they were surprised to find him talking with a woman. But no one asked her, “What do you want?” And no one asked him, “Why are you talking with her?”

But they didn’t understand what this meant, because it was hidden from them, and they were afraid to ask Jesus about it.

No one knew how to answer him, and from that day on, no one dared ask him any more questions.

So Simon Peter climbed back into the boat and dragged the net to shore. It was full of large fish, 153 in all, but even with that many fish in it, the net hadn’t torn.
