“Dear woman, what’s going on here?” Jesus responded. “My time hasn’t come yet.”

So Jesus told them, “My time hasn’t come yet. For you, any time would be the right time.

It was just before the Passover Feast. Jesus knew that the time had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Jesus had always loved his disciples who were in the world, and he now loved them to the very end.

He spoke these words while he was teaching in the temple courtyard near the place where the offerings were put. But no one arrested him, because his time hadn’t come yet.

When he said this, they tried to arrest him. But no one laid a hand on him because his time hadn’t come yet.

He responded, “The time has come for the Son of Man to receive glory.

“What do you want with us, Son of God?” they shouted. “It’s not time for us to be punished yet!”

He asked her, “Woman, why are you crying? Who are you looking for?” She thought he was the gardener, so she said, “Sir, if you’ve carried him away, tell me where you’ve put him, and I’ll go get him.”

They asked her, “Woman, why are you crying?” “They’ve taken my Lord away, and I don’t know where they’ve put him,”

“Why were you looking for me?” he replied. “Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house?”

Then Jesus said to her, “Woman, you have great faith! You will receive what you’ve asked for.” And her daughter was healed at that moment.

So from now on we don’t look at anyone from the world’s point of view. Once we even looked at Christ that way, but we don’t anymore.

When the wine ran out, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They don’t have any wine left.”

You go to the feast. I’m not going up to this feast because my time hasn’t yet fully come.”
