He asked them again, “Who are you looking for?” “Jesus of Nazareth,” they answered.

Jesus knew everything that was going to happen to him. So he went out and asked them, “Who are you looking for?”

There he lived in a town called Nazareth. The prophets had said that Jesus would be called a Nazarene, and in this way their words came true.

When Jesus said, “That’s me,” they all backed up and fell to the ground.

Jesus responded, “I told you, that’s me. If you’re looking for me, then let these men go.”
