Judas, who was going to hand Jesus over to his enemies, knew that place, because Jesus had often met there with his disciples.
Jesus went out as usual to the Mount of Olives, and his disciples followed him.
Each day Jesus taught at the temple, and each evening he went to spend the night on the hill called the Mount of Olives.
“Lord,” he said, “have mercy on my son. He shakes wildly and suffers a great deal. He often falls into the fire or into the water.
