He actually was God, but he didn’t take advantage of the fact that he was equal with God.

“Then the King will speak to those on his right and say, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, take what is yours. Receive the kingdom that has been prepared for you since the world was created.

No one has ever gone into heaven except the Son of Man who came from heaven. Just as

‘If anyone wins the victory, I’ll give that person the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I won the victory and sat down with my Father on his throne.

Everyone who lives on the earth will worship the beast if their name hasn’t been written in the book of life that belongs to the Lamb, who was willing to be a sacrifice from the time the world began.

This life has appeared, and we’ve seen him and are witnesses about him. So we’re announcing to you this same eternal life, which was with the Father and has now appeared to us.

After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed, “Father, the time has come. Bring glory to your Son so that your Son may bring glory to you.

Through him you believe in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory. So your faith and hope are in God.
