Then who can say we’re guilty? No one. Christ Jesus, who died for us—indeed, who was raised for us—is at the right hand of God praying for us.

“Father, I want those you’ve given me to be with me where I am. I want them to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the world was created.

I’m making myself holy for them so that they too can be made holy by the truth.

I pray for them. I’m not praying for the world, but for those you’ve given me, because they’re yours.

When that time comes, you won’t ask me anything anymore. Truly I tell you, my Father will give you anything you ask for in my name.

And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another helper who will be with you forever.

On that day you’ll realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.

Jesus saw that they wanted to ask him about these things, so he said to them, “Are you asking each other what I meant when I said, ‘In a little while you won’t see me anymore, then after a little while you’ll see me again’?

Now we can see that you know everything and that you don’t need anyone to ask you any questions. This makes us believe that you came from God.”
