If you don’t remain in me, you’ll be like a branch that breaks off and dries up. Branches like that are picked up, thrown into the fire, and burned.

Every tree that doesn’t bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

He cuts off any of my branches that don’t bear fruit, and he trims every branch that does bear fruit so that it will bear even more fruit.

The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and everyone who does wrong.

The ax is already at the tree roots, and any tree that doesn’t produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.

They may have escaped from the corruption of the world, and they may have come to know our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. But if they get tangled up again in sin, and it becomes their master, then they’re worse off at the end than they were at the beginning.

All we can do is to wait in fear for God’s punishment and the blazing fire that will burn up his enemies.

Anyone whose name wasn’t written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.

These enemies left our community of believers, but they didn’t really belong to us. If they had belonged to us, they would have stayed with us. By leaving, they showed that none of them really belonged to us.

So Judas threw the money into the temple and left. Then he went away and hanged himself.

But others will be thrown into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur: cowards, unbelievers, and murderers; those who are impure or commit sexual sins or practice witchcraft; those who worship idols; and all liars. The lake of fire is the second death.”
