“I’ve spoken all these things while I’m still with you.
“I’m telling you this now, before it happens, so that when it does happen, you’ll believe that I am who I am.
“I have much more to say to you, but it’s more than you can handle right now.
I’ve told you this so that you’ll have the same joy that I have and your joy will be complete.
I’ve told you now before it happens, so that when it does happen, you’ll believe.
Anyone who doesn’t love me will not obey my teaching. The words you hear me saying aren’t my own. They belong to the Father who sent me.
But the Father will send the Helper or Paraclete, the Holy Spirit, in my name to help you. The Spirit will teach you all things and remind you of everything I’ve said to you.
