Jesus said, “You believe because I told you that I saw you under the fig tree. You’re going to see greater things than that.”

Jesus responded, “Didn’t I tell you that if you believed, you would see God’s glory?”

Then Jesus told him, “Because you’ve seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who haven’t seen me but have still believed.”

Blessed are you, because you believed the Lord would keep his promises to you!”

Everyone who has will be given more, and they will have more than enough. But as for those who don’t have, even what they do have will be taken away from them.

When Jesus heard this, he was amazed at the commander. Jesus turned to the crowd that was following him and said, “I tell you, I haven’t found anyone even in Israel whose faith is this strong.”

Whoever has this kind of knowledge will be given more, until they have a great deal of it. But if anyone lacks this kind of knowledge, even what little they have will be taken away from them.

He saw a fig tree by the road and went up to it, but he didn’t find anything on it except leaves. Then he said to it, “May you never bear fruit again!” Right away the tree dried up.

Nathanael replied, “Rabbi, you’re the Son of God! You’re the king of Israel!”

Then he said to the disciples, “Truly I tell you, you will see ‘heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending’ on the Son of Man.”
