So don’t judge anything before the appointed time. Wait until the Lord returns, and he will bring what’s now hidden in the dark out into the light. He’ll show the real reasons why people do what they do. At that time God will give each person the praise they deserve.
My brothers and sisters, don’t say bad things about one another. Anyone who says something bad about a brother or sister is saying it about the law, and anyone who judges another believer is judging the law. When you judge the law, you’re not keeping it, you’re acting as if you were its judge.
Each of you should give what you’ve decided in your heart to give. You shouldn’t give if you don’t want to. You shouldn’t give because you feel you have to. God loves it when you’re glad to give.
Here I am! I’ll keep standing at the door and knocking. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I’ll come in and eat with that person, and they’ll eat with me.
Brothers and sisters, be patient until the Lord returns. See how the farmer waits for the land to produce its rich crop, being patient until the fall and spring rains come.
