If you keep all the rest of the law but break one part of it, you’re guilty of breaking all of it.

Because of Adam, all people die, and because of Christ, all will be made alive.

When you worked for sin, the pay you got from it was death. But now you’re working for God because you’ve gotten a gift: eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.

Sin came into the world through one man, and death came into the world through that sin. As a result, death affected everyone. It was just as if every person had sinned.

That’s why Christ is the mediator of a new covenant. Now the people that God has called to himself can receive the eternal gift he promised. They can receive it because Christ has died to pay the price and set them free from the sins they committed under the first covenant.

The Son is the brilliance of God’s glory and the exact likeness of God’s being. He holds everything together by his powerful word. Once he had provided the way for people to be made pure from sin, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.

Our Lord Jesus is the great Shepherd of the sheep. The God of peace brought him back from the dead through the blood of the eternal covenant. May that same God
