“He himself carried our sins” in his body on the cross. He did that so, free from sins, we would lead godly lives. “His wounds have healed you.”

Again, when God brings his firstborn into the world, he says, “Let all God’s angels worship him.”

Then I said, ‘Here I am. As it’s written about me in the book, I’ve come to do your will, my God.’ ”

Because those children have bodies made out of flesh and blood, Jesus became human like them in order to die for them. By doing that, he could stop the one who rules over the kingdom of death, that is, the devil,

And by that will, we’ve been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once and for all time.

But then the chosen time came, and God sent his Son. He was born to a woman, and he was born under the authority of the law. This was so he could set everyone free who was under the authority of the law.

I say this because many people have gone out into the world to try to deceive others. They don’t agree that Jesus Christ came in the flesh. These people are like the great enemy of Christ.

Every high priest is appointed to offer gifts and sacrifices, so this priest had to have something to offer too.

Without question, true godliness comes from this great mystery: Jesus came as a human being, and he was declared right with God by the Holy Spirit. He was seen by angels, preached among the nations, believed on in the world, and taken up in glory.

The Word became human and made his home with us. We have seen his glory the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you and the power of the Most High God will overshadow you, so that the holy one who is born will be called the Son of God.

to ask Jesus, “Are you the one who is supposed to come? Or should we look for someone else?”

and sent them to the Lord to ask him, “Are you the one who is supposed to come, or should we look for someone else?”

During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, with loud cries and tears he prayed to and pleaded with the God who could save him from death, and God listened to him because of his reverence.

First he said, “You didn’t want sacrifices and offerings, and you weren’t pleased with burnt offerings and sin offerings.” He said this even though these things were being offered as the law required.
