If anyone has hurt me, he hasn’t just hurt me; he’s hurt all of you (in some sense—not to put it too strongly).

I don’t ever want to brag about anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. Through that cross, the world has been crucified to me and I have been crucified to the world.

Brothers and sisters, may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.

Dear friends in Corinth, we’ve spoken freely to you, and we’ve opened our hearts wide.

I’m afraid for you. I’m concerned that somehow I’ve wasted my efforts on you.

Remember when I first preached the good news to you? I stopped in your area because I was sick.
