Galatians 2:1

Then after fourteen years I went up to Jerusalem again. This time I went with Barnabas. I also took Titus along.

But even though Titus, who was with me, was Greek, they didn’t require him to be circumcised.

To Titus, my true son in the faith we share. May God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior give you grace and peace.

Aristarchus, who’s in prison with me, sends you his greetings. So does Mark, the cousin of Barnabas. You’ve been given directions about him. If he comes to you, welcome him.

He was being hypocritical, and the other Jews followed his example. Even Barnabas was led astray.

Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to get to know Peter. I stayed with him for 15 days.

Titus is my helper, and he and I work together among you; our brothers are messengers from the churches who honor Christ.

Titus has the same concern for you that I do. I thank God for putting that in his heart.

Or are Barnabas and I the only ones who have to do other work to support ourselves while we serve as apostles?

So we have all agreed to send some men to you with our dear friends

Barnabas they called Zeus, and Paul they called Hermes because he was the main speaker.

But the Jewish leaders stirred up some important Gentile women who attended the synagogue. They also stirred up some men who were leaders in the city. They got all these people to oppose and attack Paul and Barnabas, and they threw the two men out of that area. But

While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “I’ve appointed Barnabas and Saul for a special task. Set them apart for me.”

After Barnabas and Saul had delivered the gift the believers had sent from Antioch, they returned from Jerusalem, bringing with them John, who was also called Mark.

and they sent Barnabas and Saul with their gift to the elders.

Then Barnabas went to Tarsus to look for Saul.

Even so, I didn’t have any peace of mind, because I couldn’t find my brother Titus there. So I said goodbye to the believers at Troas and went on to Macedonia.

James, Peter, and John, who are respected as pillars in the church, recognized that God had given me this privilege. So they shook hands with Barnabas and me to welcome us as partners. They agreed that we should go to the Gentiles while they went to the Jews.
