When Saul came to Jerusalem, he tried to join the disciples, but they were all afraid of him. They didn’t believe he really was one of Jesus’ disciples.
Everyone who heard him was amazed. They asked, “Isn’t this the man who caused so much trouble in Jerusalem for those who worship Jesus? Didn’t he come here to take them as prisoners back to the chief priests?”
Some Jews who went around driving out evil spirits tried to use the name of the Lord Jesus to set free those who were controlled by demons. They said, “In the name of the Jesus that Paul is preaching about, I command you to come out.”
