“He himself carried our sins” in his body on the cross. He did that so, free from sins, we would lead godly lives. “His wounds have healed you.”

but the free gift of God’s grace makes us right with him. Christ Jesus paid the price to set us free.

Because of what the Son has done, we’ve been set free and all our sins have been forgiven.

In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be made clean with blood. Without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness of sin.

You know how generous our Lord Jesus Christ was. Even though he was rich, he became poor for your sake, so that because he became poor, you would become rich.

Aren’t you showing disrespect for God’s great kindness, favor, and patience? Don’t you realize that God’s kindness is meant to turn you away from your sins?

who gave his life to pay for our sins. In fact, he not only paid for our sins, he also paid for the sins of the whole world.

He gave himself for us to set us free from all wrongdoing and purify us, so that we can be his very own people and be eager to do what is good.

Peter replied, “Turn away from your sins and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then your sins will be forgiven, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son to give his life to purify us from our sins.

Keep watch over yourselves and all the believers that the Holy Spirit has made you leaders over. Be shepherds of God’s church, which he bought with his own blood.

Christ also suffered once for sins. Someone who did right suffered for those who did wrong, in order to bring you to God. Jesus was put to death in the body, but he was made alive in the Spirit.

God poured out the Spirit on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, and the Spirit gave us new life.

At one time you were dead in your sins, and your wrong desires were not circumcised. But God gave you new life together with Christ. He forgave us all our sins

My goal is that they will all be encouraged in their hearts and joined together in love. Then their understanding will be rich and complete, and they will know the mystery of God, which is Christ.

God has chosen to make known to them the glorious riches of that mystery among the Gentiles. And here’s what it is: Christ is in you, the hope of glory.

But God loves us deeply, and he is full of mercy.

What if he did this to show the riches of his glory to the people he had mercy on, the ones he’d prepared to receive his glory?

So turn away from your sins and turn to God so that your sins may be wiped away. Then the time will come when the Lord makes everything new.

and his followers will preach in his name. They will tell others to turn away from their sins and be forgiven. People from every nation will hear about this, beginning in Jerusalem.

All these things make us want to praise the glorious grace that God has given us freely in the One he loves.

God provided him as a sacrifice to purify us through the shedding of his blood, and we receive the benefits of his sacrifice by faith. God did all this to show that what he does is right. He was merciful and overlooked sins from before. But now, in our own time,

The Spirit is a guarantee that someday we’ll receive all that God has promised. That will happen after God sets all his people completely free. All these things will bring praise to his glory.

I also pray that you may understand more clearly. That way you’ll know the hope that God has called you to, the glorious riches that God will give his holy people,
