Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even if they die.

Dear friends, now we are children of God. We don’t know yet what we will be. But we know that when Christ appears, we’ll be like him, because we’ll see him as he really is.

I’ve been crucified with Christ. I’m not the one living anymore. Christ is living in me. I do continue to live in this body, but I do that by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

So make sure your minds stay alert and completely sober. Put your hope in the grace that will be brought to you when Jesus Christ returns.

He has the power to bring everything under his control, and by that power he’ll change our earthly bodies to become like his glorious body.

“Father, I want those you’ve given me to be with me where I am. I want them to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the world was created.

When the Chief Shepherd returns, you’ll receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.

And now, dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears, we can be confident and not ashamed to meet him when he comes.

In the same way, Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people. He will also come a second time, not to take away our sins, but to bring salvation to those who are eagerly waiting for him.

“Blessed are those who wash their robes so that they can have the right to eat from the tree of life and go through the gates into the city.

It is planted without honor, but it is raised in glory. It is planted in weakness, but it is raised in power.

Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, clear as crystal, flowing down the middle of the city’s main street from the throne of God and of the Lamb. On each side of the river was the tree of life. It bore 12 crops of fruit, a different one each month, and its leaves brought healing to the nations.

Now God is able to keep you from falling and bring you with great joy into his heavenly glory without any fault.

Whoever has the Son has life. Whoever doesn’t have the Son of God doesn’t have life.

while we wait for Jesus Christ to appear in his glory. That is our blessed hope. Jesus is our great God and Savior.

Then God’s people will shine like the sun in their Father’s kingdom. Whoever understands should take this to heart.

Now there’s a crown waiting for me, the crown that’s given to those who are right with God. The Lord, who judges fairly, will give it to me on the day he returns, and not only to me, but also to all those who are longing for him to return.

Our troubles are small and they last only for a short time, but they’re earning a glory for us that will last forever. That glory outweighs all our troubles.

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

And after I go and prepare a place for you, I’ll come back and take you to be with me. That way you’ll also be where I am.

From Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, in keeping with the promise of life that is in Christ Jesus.

After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to welcome the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

You have every gift of the Holy Spirit as you wait eagerly for our Lord Jesus Christ to return.

But these signs have been written down so that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing, you may have life in his name.

‘Whoever has ears should listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches. If anyone wins the victory, I’ll let them to eat from the tree of life that’s in God’s paradise.’

Obey it without fault or failure until our Lord Jesus Christ appears.

You killed the author of life—but God raised him from the dead. We are witnesses of that.

“It will be just like that on the day the Son of Man is shown to the world.

What we’re suffering now isn’t even worth comparing with the glory that’s coming in the future.

Everything God created is looking forward to the time when his children will appear in their full and final glory.
