When Saul came to Jerusalem, he tried to join the disciples, but they were all afraid of him. They didn’t believe he really was one of Jesus’ disciples.
I preached first to the people in Damascus, and then to those in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and then to the Gentiles. I told them to give up their sins and turn to God and to show they’d done this by the way they lived.
That question came up because some false believers had slipped in among us to spy on the freedom we have in Christ Jesus. They wanted to make us slaves again.
