They arranged to meet with Paul on a certain day. When it came, even more of the Jewish leaders went to the place where he was staying. From morning until evening, he told them about the kingdom of God. He used the Law of Moses and the Prophets to try to convince them about Jesus.
Everyone who heard him was amazed. They asked, “Isn’t this the man who caused so much trouble in Jerusalem for those who worship Jesus? Didn’t he come here to take them as prisoners back to the chief priests?”
But Barnabas brought him to the apostles. He told them how Saul had seen the Lord while on his journey and how the Lord had spoken to him. Barnabas also explained that in Damascus Saul had preached without fear in Jesus’ name.
