God never said to an angel, “Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your control.”

God placed all things under Christ’s authority, and he appointed him to be the ruler over everything for the church.

Christ must rule until he has put all his enemies under his control.

David himself, speaking by the Holy Spirit, said, “ ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your control.” ’

No one has ever gone into heaven except the Son of Man who came from heaven. Just as

until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.” ’
