Even worse, that would make us false witnesses about God, because we testified that God raised Christ from the dead. But God didn’t do that if the dead aren’t really raised.

The God of our ancestors raised Jesus from the dead, even though you killed him by nailing him to a cross.

But Christ truly has been raised from the dead. He is the first of all those who will rise from the dead.
