God saved Lot, a man who did what was right. Lot was shocked by the evil conduct of those people who didn’t obey God’s laws.

Jesus looked around at all of them angrily. He was upset because their hearts were so stubborn. Then he said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” When he stretched it out, his hand became as good as new.

As I walked around, I looked carefully at the things you worship. I even found an altar that said, to an unknown god. Now I’m going to tell you about this ‘god’ that you worship without knowing who he is.

When it was almost time for the Jewish Passover Feast, Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

The believers who went with Paul took him to Athens. Then they returned with the message that Silas and Timothy should join him there as soon as possible.

All the people in Athens, both locals and foreigners, spent all their time talking about and listening to the latest ideas.

After this, Paul left Athens and went to Corinth.

“Now the Holy Spirit is compelling me to go to Jerusalem. I don’t know what will happen to me there.

So when we couldn’t stand it any longer, we decided it would be best if we sent our brother Timothy to strengthen and encourage you in your faith, even if we had to stay here in Athens. Timothy works together with us as we serve God by spreading the good news about Christ.
