So when we couldn’t stand it any longer, we decided it would be best if we sent our brother Timothy to strengthen and encourage you in your faith, even if we had to stay here in Athens. Timothy works together with us as we serve God by spreading the good news about Christ.

After Silas and Timothy arrived from Macedonia, Paul spent all his time preaching, showing the Jews that Jesus is the Messiah.

After this, Paul left Athens and went to Corinth.

Paul stood up in the meeting of the Areopagus and said, “People of Athens! I see that you are very religious in every way.
