At Troas we got into a boat and sailed to the island of Samothrace. The next day we landed on the coast of Macedonia at Neapolis.
It was painful to say goodbye to the Ephesian elders, but once we had done that, we headed out to sea and sailed straight to Kos. The next day we went to Rhodes, and from there we continued on to Patara.
So they passed by Mysia and went southwest to Troas, on the coast of the Aegean Sea.
They went on ahead and waited for us at Troas.
When I went to Troas to preach the good news about Christ, I found that the Lord had opened a door of opportunity for me.
