When she recognized Peter’s voice, she got so excited that she ran back without opening it. “Peter’s at the door!” she told everyone excitedly.

But they still couldn’t believe it because they were too delighted and amazed. So Jesus asked them, “Do you have anything here to eat?”

So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid but filled with joy. They ran to tell the disciples.

The people who lived there recognized Jesus and sent word all over the nearby countryside. They brought all the sick to Jesus
