“As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit came on them, just as he had come on us at the beginning.

Then Paul placed his hands on them, and the Holy Spirit came on them. They spoke in unknown languages and they prophesied.

After they had prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke God’s word without any fear.

Peter stayed in Joppa for some time, in the home of a man named Simon who worked with leather.
