He appeared to them over a period of 40 days after his suffering and death, and he proved in many ways that he was alive. During that time, he spoke about the kingdom of God.

and those who’d traveled with him from Galilee to Jerusalem saw him for many days. Now they are his witnesses to our people.

A week later, Jesus’ disciples were in the house again. This time Thomas was with them. Even though the doors were locked, Jesus came in and stood among them. He said, “May peace be with you!”

The Word of life was here from the beginning. We’ve heard him, we’ve seen him with our eyes, we’ve looked at him, and our hands have touched him. So we want to tell you about him.

This was the third time Jesus had appeared to his disciples after he had been raised from the dead.

After this Jesus appeared to his disciples again by the Sea of Tiberias (that is, the Sea of Galilee). Here’s what happened.

Suddenly Jesus met them and said, “Good morning!” They came to him, took hold of his feet, and worshiped him.

He proclaimed the kingdom of God boldly and taught people about the Lord Jesus Christ. And no one kept him from teaching and preaching about those things.

We encouraged you, comforted you, and urged you to live in a way worthy of God, who has called you into his kingdom and glory.

He has saved us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves.

The kingdom of God isn’t about eating or drinking. It’s about doing what’s right and having peace and joy through the Holy Spirit.

“So I tell you that the kingdom of God is going to be taken away from you and given to people who will produce its fruit.

Jesus didn’t eat for 40 days and 40 nights, and he got very hungry.

He said, “Turn away from your sins! The kingdom of heaven is near.”

When the Lord Jesus had finished speaking to them, he was taken up into heaven, where he sat down at the right hand of God.

But when Philip announced the good news of the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, many men and women believed and were baptized.

Paul entered the synagogue and spoke boldly there for three months. He gave good reasons for believing the truth about the kingdom of God.

They arranged to meet with Paul on a certain day. When it came, even more of the Jewish leaders went to the place where he was staying. From morning until evening, he told them about the kingdom of God. He used the Law of Moses and the Prophets to try to convince them about Jesus.
