From Paul, Silas, and Timothy. To the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Silas, Timothy, and I preached to you about the Son of God, Jesus Christ, and he is not “Yes” and “No.” He’s always “Yes,”
Paul then went to Derbe and to Lystra, where a disciple named Timothy lived. His mother was Jewish and a believer, but his father was a Greek.
Then the apostles, elders, and the whole church decided to choose some of their own men and send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas. They chose Judas Barsabbas and Silas, who were leaders among the believers.
Paul and those traveling with him passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia and stopped in Thessalonica, where there was a Jewish synagogue.
