Each of you should give what you’ve decided in your heart to give. You shouldn’t give if you don’t want to. You shouldn’t give because you feel you have to. God loves it when you’re glad to give.

Each of you has received a gift that you can use to serve others. You should use it as something that God has trusted you with. These gifts come in many forms.

“If you can be trusted with very little, then you can also be trusted with a lot. But if you aren’t honest with very little, then you also won’t be honest with a lot.

So finish the work. Then the desire you had to do it will be matched by the way you’ve finished it. Give based on how much you have.

We don’t want others to have it easy while you are burdened. We want things to be fair.
