Let’s not judge each other anymore. Instead, let’s decide not to put anything in a brother or sister’s way that would make them trip and fall.

If others have the right to receive support from you, don’t we have an even greater right? But we haven’t used that right. No, we’re prepared to make any sacrifice we have to, rather than let anything get in the way of the good news of Christ.

“But let’s not put an obstacle in anyone’s way. Go to the lake and throw out your fishing line. Open the mouth of first fish you catch, and you’ll find a coin that’s the exact amount you need. Take it and give it to them for my tax and yours.”

To those who are weak I became weak, in order to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some.

We don’t want anyone to have any reason to criticize how we’re taking care of this generous gift.

With God’s help, we’ve acted toward everyone, and especially toward you, honorably and honestly. We can say that with pride and a clear conscience. We’ve depended on God’s grace and not on the world’s wisdom.
