God is my witness that I long for all of you with the love of Christ Jesus.

So I’ll be very happy to spend everything I have for you. I will even spend myself. If I love you more, will you love me less?

I wrote to you in great distress, with a heavy heart, and with my eyes full of tears. I wasn’t trying to upset you. I just wanted you to know how deeply I love you.

“See, I’m coming soon, and I’m bringing my rewards with me. I’ll reward each person for what they’ve done.

You believers at Philippi know what happened when I left Macedonia in the early days when you first heard the good news. Not one church helped me in the matter of giving and receiving except for you.

You foolish Galatians! Who cast a spell on you? When I preached, I showed you clearly that Jesus Christ had been nailed to the cross.

You know that the Lord will give each one a reward for whatever good they do, whether they’re a slave or a free person.

After this, Paul left Athens and went to Corinth.

The synagogue leader Crispus and everyone living in his house came to believe in the Lord. Many others who lived in Corinth heard Paul, and they too believed and were baptized.

I’m begging you, brothers and sisters: Become like me. After all, I became like you. You didn’t do anything wrong to me.

Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, the right words will be given to me so I can explain the mystery of the good news boldly.
