But he told me, “My grace is all you need, because my power is made perfect in weakness.” So I will gladly brag all the more about how weak I am, so that Christ’s power can rest on me.

I can do all this through the one who gives me strength.

But by the grace of God, I am what I am, and his grace wasn’t wasted on me. No, I worked harder than all the other apostles—though it wasn’t me doing the work. God’s grace was with me.

God is at work in you to help you both to want his good purpose and to work for it.

“I am the vine and you are the branches. If you remain in me and I remain in you, you will bear much fruit. Apart from me, you can do nothing.

Every good and perfect gift is from above. It comes down from the Father who created the heavenly lights. He doesn’t change like shadows that move.

I planted the seed, and Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow.

But we’re like clay jars that hold a valuable treasure. We carry the good news around in these earthly bodies of ours to show that its mighty power comes from God and not from us.

God has given me the grace to lay a foundation as a wise builder. Now someone else is building on it. But each one should build carefully.

To those who are being lost, we are the aroma of death. But to those who are being saved, we are the aroma of life. Who is able to do this kind of work?

I am going to send you what my Father has promised, but for now, stay in the city until you have received power from heaven.”

I don’t dare to speak about anything except what Christ has done through me. He has been leading the Gentiles to obey God through what I have said and done,

You’ve heard me teach things in front of many witnesses. Pass them on to people you can trust, and then they’ll be able to teach others also.
