The weapons I fight with aren’t the weapons of this world. They’re just the opposite! They use the power of God to destroy resistance—

I’ve been crucified with Christ. I’m not the one living anymore. Christ is living in me. I do continue to live in this body, but I do that by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

If you live that way, you’ll die. But if, by the Spirit’s power, you put to death the wrong things people do in their bodies, then you will live.

I’ve fought the good fight, I’ve finished the race, I’ve kept the faith.

Timothy, my son, I’m giving you this command in keeping with the prophecies that were once made about you. By remembering them, you’ll be able to fight the battle well
