Finally, I want all of you to agree with one another. Be understanding, love one another, be kind and tender, be humble.

Love one another deeply. Honor one another more than yourselves.

You’ve made yourselves pure by obeying the truth. Now, you have an honest and true love for each other. So love one another deeply from your hearts.

Get rid of all bitterness, anger, rage, fighting, lying, and any kind of hatred.

But the wisdom that comes from above is first pure, then peace-loving, kind, cooperative, full of mercy and good fruit, fair, and genuine.

Be completely humble and gentle. Be patient and bear with one another in love.

As God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, put on tender mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience as if they were new clothes.

If one part suffers, every part suffers with it. If one part is honored, every part shares in its joy.

Shouldn’t you have had mercy on the other servant, just as I had mercy on you?’

We know that we’ve passed from death into life, because we love one another. Anyone who doesn’t love remains in death.

I ask all of you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to agree with one another and not argue. Look and think about things in the same way.

All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that anything they owned was theirs. Instead, they shared everything they had.

In the same way, you who are younger should follow the lead of your elders. All of you should have a humble attitude toward one another, because Scripture says, “God opposes those who are proud, but he gives grace to those who are humble.”

Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters.

To godliness, add kindness. And to kindness, add love.

Show proper respect to everyone, love the family of believers, have respect for God, honor the emperor.

As you know, we consider people blessed who don’t give up. You’ve heard that Job was patient, and you’ve seen what the Lord finally did for him. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy.

because anyone who hasn’t been merciful won’t receive mercy when they’re judged. But mercy wins out over judgment.

Just make sure that you live up to what you’ve already reached.

May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude toward one another that Christ Jesus had.

Publius, the chief official on the island, owned some property nearby, and he welcomed us into his home. For three days he kindly took care of us.

The next day we landed at Sidon. There Julius kindly let Paul visit his friends so they could give him things he needed.

On the day of Pentecost, all the believers were gathered in one place.

But a Samaritan came to the place where the man was, and when he saw him, he felt compassion for him.

Instead, be kind and merciful to one another. Forgive one another, just as God has forgiven you in Christ.

Don’t try to get ahead of others, and don’t think you’re better than they are. Instead, be humble and honor others more than yourselves.
