Because of what God has done, you belong to Christ Jesus. He has become God’s wisdom for us. He makes us right with God, he makes us holy, and he sets us free.

Aren’t I free? Aren’t I an apostle? Haven’t I seen Jesus our Lord? Aren’t you the result of my work for the Lord?

While Apollos was at Corinth, Paul took the inland road over to Ephesus. When he arrived there, he found some disciples.

When they heard this, they didn’t question or criticize Peter any longer. Instead, they praised God and said, “So then, God has allowed even Gentiles to turn away from their sins and find life!”

because our good news didn’t just come to you through our words. It came with power, with the Holy Spirit, and with great confidence. You know what we went through for your sake when we were with you.

I don’t dare to speak about anything except what Christ has done through me. He has been leading the Gentiles to obey God through what I have said and done,

Paul greeted them and reported everything God had done among the Gentiles through his work.

Meanwhile a Jew named Apollos came to Ephesus. He was an educated man from Alexandria who knew the Scriptures very well.

One of the women who listened to us was named Lydia. She was from the city of Thyatira, and she had a business selling purple cloth. She already believed in God, and the Lord opened her heart to accept Paul’s message.

When they arrived in Antioch, they gathered the church together and told everything that God had done through them. They shared how he had opened a way for the Gentiles to believe.

Here’s what I mean. One of you says, “I follow Paul.” Another says, “I follow Apollos.” Another says, “I follow Peter.” And still another says, “I follow Christ.”

So the one who plants doesn’t matter, and neither does the one who waters. It’s God who matters. He makes things grow.

including Paul and Apollos and Peter, and the world and life and death and the present and the future. All these things are yours,

Then Christ will live in your hearts because you believe in him. And I pray that your love will have deep roots and a strong foundation.
