But Christ is faithful over God’s house as his Son. And we are his house, if we hold tightly to our courage and the hope we boast about.

So we must pay very careful attention to what we’ve heard, so that we don’t drift away from it.

We have come to share in Christ, but we need to maintain right to the end the confidence we started with.

God has saved us and called us to live a holy life. This isn’t because of anything we’ve done, but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given to us in Christ Jesus even before time began.

But you must keep your faith steady and firm and not move away from the hope that the good news is offering you. This is the good news that you heard. It has been preached to every creature under heaven and I, Paul, am its servant.

God’s grace has saved you because of your faith in Christ. It’s not from you; it’s God’s gift.

The message of the cross seems foolish to those who are lost. But to us who are being saved, it is the power of God.

Just as a person’s body is dead without their spirit, so faith that doesn’t lead a person to act is dead.

My brothers and sisters, if a person claims to have faith but never acts on it, what good is that? Can that kind of faith save them?

Let’s hold firmly to the hope we say we have, because the one who promised is faithful.

The seed on rocky ground stands for those who hear the message and receive it with joy, but who have no roots. They believe for a while, but when they are tested, they fall away from the faith.

It’s the same with faith. If it doesn’t lead us to take action, it’s dead.

Because we have a great high priest who has gone up into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let’s hold on firmly to our faith.

Brothers and sisters, remain strong in the faith. Hold on to what we’ve taught you in person and in our letters.

Have you experienced so much for nothing? (If it really was for nothing.)

As people who work together with God, we ask you not to receive God’s grace and then do nothing with it.

I’m not ashamed of the good news. It’s the power of God that can save everyone who believes, first the Jews and then also the Gentiles.

God considers us to be the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are being lost.

And if Christ hasn’t been raised, then what we preach doesn’t mean anything, and your faith doesn’t mean anything either.

God wisely planned that the world wouldn’t be able to understand him through its own wisdom. Instead, God was happy to use the foolish things we preach to save those who believe.

Think about how kind God is! But also think about how strict he is! He was strict with those who stopped following him, but he has been kind to you. So you must continue to live in his kindness. If you don’t, you too will be cut off.

Simon himself believed and was baptized. He followed Philip everywhere and was amazed by the great signs and miracles he saw.

God. All the people thought well of them. Every day the Lord added to their group more people who were being saved.

I commend you for remembering what I taught you and for staying true to exactly what I passed on to you.
