But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.

Let’s hold firmly to the hope we say we have, because the one who promised is faithful.

We’re announcing to you what we’ve seen and heard so that you can share life together with us, with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

You’re tempted in the same way that all other human beings are. And God is faithful; he won’t let you be tempted beyond what you can endure. When you are tempted, God will provide a way out, and then you’ll be able to resist.

We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who are called according to his purpose.

Then I saw heaven open up, and there was a white horse in front of me. Its rider is called Faithful and True. When he judges or fights a war, he’s always fair.

But if we walk in the light, just as he is in the light, then we share life with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son makes us pure from all sin.

Just as surely as God is faithful, our message to you is not “Yes” and “No.”

After you’ve suffered for a little while, the God of all grace will restore you and make you strong, firm, and steadfast. He has called you to share in his eternal glory in Christ.

Here’s how we know that we live in him and he lives in us: He has given us his Holy Spirit.

By faith Sarah was able to become a mother even when she was too old to have children. God had promised this would happen, and Sarah believed that he was faithful.

We are those people. He has chosen us not only from the Jews but also from the Gentiles. As

God made these plans for people to become like his Son, and he called those people to be saved. Then he made those people right with himself, and finally, he them gave his glory.

I’ve been crucified with Christ. I’m not the one living anymore. Christ is living in me. I do continue to live in this body, but I do that by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

We have come to share in Christ, but we need to maintain right to the end the confidence we started with.

God called you to be saved through the good news that we preach, and you will share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Father, I pray they will be one, just as you are in me and I am in you. I want them also to be in us so that the world will believe that you have sent me.

Then they will live in the hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began that he would give us.

That’s why he swore an oath. Then there were two things that guaranteed God was telling the truth: his promise and his oath. He gave us those two things so that we’d be very encouraged as we run to take hold of the hope that has been set before us.

Holy brothers and sisters, who take part in God’s calling, I want you to focus your attention on Jesus, who is the messenger and high priest of our faith.

So he had to be made like them—fully human in every way. That way he could serve God as a merciful and faithful high priest and purify the people from their sins.

God has saved us and called us to live a holy life. This isn’t because of anything we’ve done, but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given to us in Christ Jesus even before time began.

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

But God had set me apart before I was born and called me by his grace. When he was pleased

We give thanks for the cup at the Lord’s Supper. When we do, aren’t we sharing in the blood of Christ? When we break the bread, aren’t we sharing in the body of Christ?

Because of what God has done, you belong to Christ Jesus. He has become God’s wisdom for us. He makes us right with God, he makes us holy, and he sets us free.

Some of the natural branches have been broken off. You Gentiles are like a wild olive branch that has been grafted onto the tree with the other branches. Now you’re enjoying the life-giving sap of the olive tree root.

We encouraged you, comforted you, and urged you to live in a way worthy of God, who has called you into his kingdom and glory.

I’m joyful because of what I’m suffering for you. My suffering continues the sufferings of Christ for his body, which is the church.

But even if we’re not faithful, he’ll still be faithful, because he must always be true to himself.
