Let us before his presence come with praise and thankful voice; Let us sing psalms to him with grace, and make a joyful noise.
O enter then his gates with praise, Approach with joy his courts unto: Praise, laud, and bless his name always, For it is seemly so to do.
Sing ye to him, sing psalms; proclaim his wondrous works each one.
Him serve with mirth, his praise forth tell, Come ye before him and rejoice.
Arise, and disappoint my foe, and cast him down, O Lord: My soul save from the wicked man, the man which is thy sword.
So shall th' assembly of thy folk about encompass thee: Thou, therefore, for their sakes, return unto thy place on high.
Take up a psalm, the pleasant harp, timbrel and psalt'ry bring.
Let all the earth unto the Lord send forth a joyful noise; Lift up your voice aloud to him, sing praises, and rejoice.
