For thou, Lord, by thy mighty works hast made my heart right glad; And I will triumph in the works which by thine hands were made.
Of thy hands' works thou mad'st him lord, all under's feet didst lay;
The Lord hath done great things for us, whence joy to us is brought.
I call to mind the days of old, to meditate I use On all thy works; upon the deeds I of thy hands do muse.
The glory of the mighty Lord continue shall for ever: The Lord JEHOVAH shall rejoice in all his works together.
O let thy work and pow'r appear thy servants' face before; And shew unto their children dear thy glory evermore:
In God the righteous shall rejoice, and trust upon his might; Yea, they shall greatly glory all in heart that are upright.
Of him my meditation shall sweet thoughts to me afford; And as for me, I will rejoice in God, my only Lord.
Praise God with harp, and unto him sing with the psaltery; Upon a ten-string'd instrument make ye sweet melody.
