Thy loving-kindness to shew forth when shines the morning light; And to declare thy faithfulness with pleasure ev'ry night.
His loving-kindness yet the Lord command will in the day, His song's with me by night; to God, by whom I live, I'll pray:
Thy justice and salvation my mouth abroad shall show, Ev'n all the day; for I thereof the numbers do not know.
Thee will I bless each day, and will thy name for ever praise.
I in my trouble sought the Lord, my sore by night did run, And ceased not; my grieved soul did consolation shun.
When back my foes were turn'd, they fell, and perish'd at thy sight:
I mercy will and judgment sing, Lord, I will sing to thee.
Praise ye the Lord; for it is good praise to our God to sing: For it is pleasant, and to praise it is a comely thing.
