In troublous times I'll call on thee; for thou wilt answer send.
And call upon me when in trouble thou shalt be; I will deliver thee, and thou my name shalt glorify.
I called have on thee, O God, because thou wilt me hear: That thou may'st hearken to my speech, to me incline thine ear.
I with my voice cry'd to the Lord, with it made my request:
He'll call on me, I'll answer him; I will be with him still In trouble, to deliver him, and honour him I will.
When in me was o'erwhelm'd my sp'rit, then well thou knew'st my way; Where I did walk a snare for me they privily did lay.
In my distress I call'd on God, cry to my God did I; He from his temple heard my voice, to his ears came my cry.
