Thou, with thy counsel, while I live, wilt me conduct and guide; And to thy glory afterward receive me to abide.
I will instruct thee, and thee teach the way that thou shalt go; And, with mine eye upon thee set, I will direction show.
For this God doth abide Our God for evermore; he will ev'n unto death us guide.
The meek in judgment he will guide, and make his path to know.
For God the Lord's a sun and shield: he'll grace and glory give; And will withhold no good from them that uprightly do live.
But from hell's hand God will me free, for he shall me receive.
I bless the Lord, because he doth by counsel me conduct; And in the seasons of the night my reins do me instruct.
