Nevertheless continually, O Lord, I am with thee: Thou dost me hold by my right hand, and still upholdest me.
My soul thee follows hard; and me thy right hand doth sustain.
Before me still the Lord I set: sith it is so that he Doth ever stand at my right hand, I shall not moved be.
Yea, though I walk in death's dark vale, yet will I fear none ill: For thou art with me; and thy rod and staff me comfort still.
Although he fall, yet shall he not be cast down utterly; Because the Lord with his own hand upholds him mightily.
For sinners' arms shall broken be; but God the just sustains.
If I should count them, than the sand they more in number be: What time soever I awake, I ever am with thee.
