Because the Lord a father is unto the fatherless; God is the widow's judge, within his place of holiness.
Thou hast it seen; for their mischief and spite thou wilt repay: The poor commits himself to thee; thou art the orphan's stay.
The stranger's shield, the widow's stay, the orphan's help, is he: But yet by him the wicked's way turn'd upside down shall be.
The people's poor ones he shall judge, the needy's children save; And those shall he in pieces break who them oppressed have.
To judge the fatherless, and those that are oppressed sore; That man, that is but sprung of earth, may them oppress no more.
With right he shall thy people judge, thy poor with uprightness.
He views all from his dwelling-place that in the earth do dwell.
O set ye open unto me the gates of righteousness; Then will I enter into them, and I the Lord will bless.
Let each thing breathing praise the Lord. Praise to the Lord give ye.
