For thou the vows that I did make, O Lord my God, didst hear: Thou hast giv'n me the heritage of those thy name that fear.
Thy vows upon me are, O God: I'll render praise to thee.
Both small and great, that fear the Lord, he will them surely bless.
Teach me thy way, and in thy truth, O Lord, then walk will I; Unite my heart, that I thy name may fear continually.
But surely God me heard, and to my prayer's voice gave ear.
Praise waits for thee in Sion, Lord: to thee vows paid shall be.
As th' apple of the eye me keep; in thy wings shade me close
I of the Lord my God will say, He is my refuge still, He is my fortress, and my God, and in him trust I will.
