The earth to tremble thou hast made; therein didst breaches make: Do thou thereof the breaches heal, because the land doth shake.
Th' earth, as affrighted, then did shake, trembling upon it seiz'd: The hills' foundations moved were, because he was displeas'd.
O at the presence of the Lord, earth, tremble thou for fear, While as the presence of the God of Jacob doth appear:
Earth, as affrighted, trembleth all, if he on it but look; And if the mountains he but touch, they presently do smoke.
Thou all his hedges hast broke down, his strong holds down hast torn.
