God hath my supplication heard, My pray'r received graciously
In my distress to God I cry'd, and he gave ear to me.
Thou didst me answer in the day when I to thee did cry; And thou my fainting soul with strength didst strengthen inwardly.
I in distress call'd on the Lord; the Lord did answer me: He in a large place did me set, from trouble made me free.
I cry'd, and, from his holy hill, the Lord me answer made.
For from thine eyes cut off I am, I in my haste had said; My voice yet heard'st thou, when to thee with cries my moan I made.
